Technical Assistance


You can choose from a range of job search services and resources provided in the Workforce Solutions East Texas Centers. Services and resources available include: job postings; job search tools; skills assessment and career exploration tools, training and education resources; labor market information, child care resources, and eligibility and referral information to appropriate programs and providers. Staff assisted services are provided by trained Career Specialists. Adaptive Equipment for the Visually Impaired is available.

Work search training seminars are available free to the public. Seminars cover a breadth of subjects from Resume Workshops to Job Search Techniques; from Secrets of the interview to Dress for Success. Each course is taught by experts and working professionals in the field. Contact the Workforce Solutions Center nearest you directly for additional information.

The Workforce Centers Resource Library is available to all job seekers. Resource rooms are staffed at all times to provide orientation to available resources and other services available through the Workforce Center delivery system. Computer & Internet Access is available: Sign up to use a computer in the Resource Room of your local Workforce Center to build your resume or access the Internet. With this vital resource you can enter the Texas Workforce Commission job banks such as America's Job Bank,, as well as other state agency sites. You can also find information about local employers and communities around our area.
