East Texas Ready to Work provides employers $4 per hour wage subsidies for 160 hours when they hire unemployed job seekers. TWC, along with Workforce Solutions East Texas, provides employers with another great reason to hire from the highly qualified pool of workers who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. East Texas Ready to Work provides qualified employers with $4 an hour in wages for 160 hours as well as on-the-job training for their workers. The reimbursements are made to employers hiring individuals receiving unemployment benefits.
