Public Notice- Request for Applications Now Available for Worker Training Initiatives With Primary Companies The Workforce Solutions East Texas Board is soliciting proposals for worker training initiatives with primary companies. The Employee Development Fund of East Texas is intended as an avenue for primary companies throughout the East Texas Workforce Development Area to access funding to provide worker training for current workers and new hires by partnering with providers such as local community and technical colleges or to train workers in-house. A “primary company” refers to a company in an identified industry specified in state statue that manufactures a product or provides a service where at least 50% of sales come from outside the East Texas Workforce Development Area. |
